About Me:
| The decisions we make determine the life we live! The destination is not as important as the journey there! Life is all about the journey! |
Born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on November 20, 1966, I attended catholic schools for primary and secondary education graduating High School in May 1984. I obtained an Associate's Degree in 1986 and a Bachelor's in 1988 both in Computer Science from the University of Puerto Rico and have worked since in the computer industry. In 1991, I moved to Florida and later on to South Carolina where I've been part of the Greer community since 1997 and began working for Milliken in Spartanburg as a computer programmer. In 1998, I met Don and we married in 1999. Don and I have many things in common, including the desire to help in people's healing process. We attended and graduated the Greenville Tech's Greer Campus Massage Therapy program in 2001. I'm now a Nationally Certified and Licensed Massage Therapist, a members of the American Therapeutic Massage Association, and a Reiki Master. In 2001, together with my husband, we opened Angel Dolfyn Connection Massage & Healing Arts (www.angeldolfyn.com) a therapeutic massage and healing arts practice in the upstate of South Carolina. We recently established our second business, a wholesale/retail apparel that promotes personal peace called “Be at Peace” - Products with Purpose (www.be-at-peace.com). Currently, I'm very involved in the Greater Greer community serving on the Greater Greer Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and as Chairman of the Diverse & Small Business Council. I've also served as the Chairman, and I'm still a member of the Hispanic Business Council for the Chamber. In 2005, I was honored with the Chamber's Volunteer of the Year award. In 2004 Angel Dolfyn Connection received the 2003 Small Business of the Year award and we were voted Best Massage Therapist in the Upstate of SC by Metro Beat, Best of the Beat. In May, 2006, I graduated from the Greer Leadership Program and in January 2007, started serving on the Allen Bennett (Greer Memorial) Hospital Advisory Board. I enjoy volunteering/Working as an interpreter for Greer Mental Health, Greenville Department of Social Services, the Greer Police Department, and the Small Business Development Center of Clemson University. The Miss Greater Greer Scholarship Committee recently honored me with the 2006 Woman of Achievement Award. In my spare time, I enjoys creating artwork, dable in website design, spend time writing and journaling, singing, watching movies, and reading. Occasionally, you may find me at an airport looking at airplanes and longing for the time when I use to fly them. Don and I are working on writing a book on the subject of synchronicity. By looking closely at our life's journey, we will explore the importance of noticing the Sacredness of Every Single Event in life and how each event is linked to our spiritual quest. |
